A MESSAGE FROM OUR PRESIDENT

Welcome! Welcome to our website and, if you are new to the area, welcome to New Canaan.

The New Canaan Men’s Club was founded in 1977 by a group of men who met regularly at the YMCA to play racquetball. While the Club has grown since then, providing friendship and fellowship to members remains a core mission of our Club. We meet on Friday mornings in Morrill Hall at St. Mark’s Episcopal Church, but we are nonreligious, nonpartisan, as well as a non-profit community organization (501(c)(3). Each Friday meeting has a speaker covering interesting and often a timely topic.

A proponent of investor protection and financial literacy, Julie Jason is the founder of Jackson, Grant Investment Advisers, Inc., and an award-winning columnist and author who shares insights gained from a lifelong career in money management and law.

Julie will present on insights from her book, The Discerning Investor: Personal Portfolio Management in Retirement for Lawyers (and Their Clients). We are planning to offer copies of the book for sale following the meeting.
